LUNA MEXICANA is a dance and music celebration of the iconic Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)! In Luna Mexicana, a young woman’s dreams revive her relatives and friends who all dance back to life in the forms of teetering skeletons, skirt swishing girls, a high flying “deer dancer,” and a deathly Bride and Groom. This family friendly performance is filled with festive dancing, colorful costumes, and vibrant music including traditional Mexican folk music and witty electronic fusions. Audience members are encouraged to attend in Day of the Dead attire and arrive early to participate in the Dia de los Muertos festivities in the theater lobby prior to the performance.

MARY POPPINS (1964) - George Banks (David Tomlinson) and Winifred Banks (Glynis Johns) need a new nanny after their "difficult" children drive off their last one (Elsa Lanchester). Their classified ad makes its way to Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) who turns out to be exactly what the Banks family needs - if not expects. The new nanny takes the two Banks children, Jane (Karen Dotrice) and Michael (Matthew Garber), on a series of magical adventures to the tune of some of the most memorable song and dance numbers in film history. Pamela Lyndon Travers, the author of the original Mary Poppins stories upon which this film is based, reportedly gave Walt Disney a hard time as he attempted to buy the book rights from her - he spent over twenty years courting her. The result - directed by Disney's longest-serving director, Robert Stevenson - was Disney's greatest live-action film ever. It was also the longest Disney film ever. Featuring the Oscar-winning screen debut of Julie Andrews in the title role and Dick van Dyke's star turn as Bert the chimney sweeper, Mary Poppins uses every minute of its 2-hours-and-20-minutes length to wondrous advantage and garnered Disney eight Academy Award nominations and five Oscars. Besides the Julie Andrews win for Best Actress, the film won Best Effects, Best Original Song, Best Original Score, and Best Film Editing.

BUDDY GUY - An ace session player for Chess Records throughout the 1960s who backed Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson and Koko Taylor, this blues guitar legend came to define second-generation Chicago blues with his wildly exuberant performances and incendiary guitar playing. His influence was profound across the Atlantic, where British blues lovers like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page absorbed his style. A testament to his lasting influence, Guy received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 GRAMMY awards and was a 2005 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Buddy Guy remains an iconic force on guitar whose incandescent solos reveal the searing, uninhibited soul of the blues.
